I asked my colleague if she wanted to lunch out today.  Also a food enthusiast, Mam P said yes right away. Now, we've been eyeing this little cafe/resto near our office - Mom and Tina's Bakeshop so we agreed it's time to check it out.

1 P.M. I can't breathe. Well, that's what an order of Shepherd's Pie (with 2 rolls of garlic cheese bread) and Mango Walnut Torte could do to you.  By the time we were walking back to the office, I kept grumbling about how full I was and how my tummy was protruding from my blouse.

So, how was the food? Great! I loved my Shepherd's Pie. It was served piping hot, the rolls too were still warm! Which was great since I don't like food served cold (except if it IS a cold dish). The potatoes in the pie were buttery and the beef was tasty.  Mam P had ordered the Chicken Spinach Lasagna and it was also good. For our desserts, Ms P had her Dark Toblerone torte and mine was Mango Walnut. I got to taste Ms P's dessert and it was.. sweet! Well, I have low tolerance for sweets but I noticed Ms P had managed to finish off her torte before me so I guess she loved it.  Well I was happy with my Mango Walnut Torte - it was not too overpowering and the mixture of softness of the mangoes and the chewiness of the walnuts was enough for me to finish off the whole serving (which could be actually shared by 2 persons).

Check out Mom and Tina's at these braches and taste for yourself :)
