One of the CNN Hero of the Year nominees is our kababayan, Efren Peñaflorida who had gone out of his way to reach out and educate children. Gasgas na gasgas na ang sermon ng mga magulang na importante ang edukasyon but we must admit that not all can afford sending their children to school. So I was really amazed that Efren has this 'kariton classroom' wherein they have a cart loaded with a blackboard and other teaching materials and they go out to the streets - litearally bringing the classroom to his students. Nakakatuwa talaga! Saludo ako kay Ed at sa ibang nominees for having the passion to help others and change lives. Mabuhay kayo!
